My passion for technology began at an early age. Growing up, I was deeply involved in educational robotics, inspired by my greatest role model: my mother. Over the years, I took part in robotics competitions at both state and national levels, and each experience only fueled my curiosity and love for technology.
Before starting high school, I planned to pursue a degree in Mechatronics Engineering — the closest option to robotics at the time. But everything changed in 2021, when I joined Conexão Mundo, a student exchange program offered by the state education network of Paraíba.
Through this program, I had the opportunity to study abroad, taking the course Computing and English as a Foreign Language. That was where I wrote my first lines of Python code — and where I discovered the field that truly captured my heart: programming.
Today, as a Data Science and Artificial Intelligence student, each project, workshop, and new challenge reaffirms the same feeling I had back then: “This is what I want to do.”
